Leigh Bale is an award-winning author of Inspirational Romance. In 2006, Leigh's debut novel, The Healing Place, won the prestigious Golden Heart contest and will be released by Steeple Hill Love Inspired in December 2007. A member of Romance Writers of America (RWA), the Golden Key National Honor Society, and the American Christian Fiction Writers, Leigh also belongs to various chapters of RWA, including the Sacramento Valley Rose, the Faith, Hope and Love chapter, the Hearts Through History Romance Writers, and the Golden Network. She is the mother of two children and lives in Nevada with her professor husband of twenty-five years. Her favorite diversions are playing with her beautiful granddaughter and taking classes in medieval history.
