Helen Brenna, a lifelong resident of Minnesota, was raised the seventh of eight children. After several years into an accounting career as a CPA and a couple of children, she finally decided to pursue what seemed a fairytale and wrote her first book. Four manuscripts, three Golden Heart finals, and numerous other contest finals and wins, she sold her first and second adventure romances to Harlequin Superromance.
