Golden Network Member News:

Gail Barrett's November Silhouette Romance Suspense, TO PROTECT A PRINCESS, continues her Crusaders miniseries (Chasing legends, capturing hearts), with a 4-1/2 Stars TOP PICK review from Romantic Times. She continues her success with another three books on the way (next up: HIS 7-DAY FIANCE in May, 2009).

Robin Kaye's first book received a great review from Publishers Weekly: "Debut author Kaye provides a pleasing romantic romp mixing Italian Brooklyn family values, hot sex and plenty of food... Kaye's portrayal of modern romance against the background of an old-fashioned, gossipy extended family rings true, and Nick's efforts to wow Rosalie with fabulous home cooking are endlessly entertaining." (ROMEO, ROMEO, November, 2008, Sourcebooks Casablanca)

Susan Lyons' TOUCH ME won the Desert Rose 2008 Golden Quill (Erotic category). In addition to signing a new 2-book contract with Kensington Aphrodisia, Susan has made her first sale to Berkley Heat.

Beth Trissel's first book has been released: SOMEWHERE MY LOVE, a murder mystery/ghost story romance with flashbacks to early nineteenth-century Virginia and Hamlet parallels, is out at The Wild Rose Press.

The final two of the Romantic Times/Dorchester American Title contest were both Golden Network chapter members: Trish Milburn and Helen Scott Taylor. Helen Scott Taylor was announced the winner at the 2008 Romantic Times convention. Her book, THE MAGIC KNOT, will be a February 2009 release from Dorchester.

Stacey Kayne is happy to announce she's signed a contract for four more western romances with Harlequin Historical.  This will include the third book in her WILD Trilogy, as well as two new books in her BRIDE series, and will also include a Spring Bride Anthology with authors Jillian Hart and Judith Stacey to be released in June '09.  Stacey has launched a new website www.staceykayne.com.  Be sure to check out the new group blog Petticoats & Pistols, a fun western site with some fabulous western historical authors.

Twenty of our members will have their first novels released in 2008.
